Dry skin is thin by nature and has small pores. It can feel tight and get flaky, rough and be prone to redness. Dry skin lacks both lipids and water-based moisture. It is best treated with a combination of thinner, watery moisturizing layers together with oils and creams. Layering different kind of products is important – you can’t get everything you need from a single jar, as wonderful as it might sound. Use serum, oil and face cream and finish with a balm if you wish – this is a receipt for a nourished, bouncy skin.
